Douglas Fir products are produced from BC Coastal Forests. We process lumber-sort or high-grade logs for special projects requiring the finest, most demanding, specification of Douglas Fir. We produce many items from Douglas Fir logs, including Clear Timbers in Vertical Grain or Mixed Grain, #1 FOHC Appearance Grade Timbers, 2" Vertical Grain Clears, Veneer Slicing Cants, Crossarms and Hirakaku.
We custom cut logs at the best sawmills in the Lower Mainland. Custom cutting is the process where we own the logs and subcontract the cutting to the most appropriate sawmill, depending on the type of log and cut specification. The ability to custom cut our logs provides the greatest flexibility and lowest costs, for us, and our customers.
